Take some time today, whether it be a few minutes, or a few hours, to remember those who lost their lives on this day thirteen years ago. If you are able to attend a remembrance ceremony in your area, even better. This anniversary means different things to different people-but please remember for at least one moment today, the events of 9/11 that affected so many individuals across our country and the world. Everyone honors this day in their own way, I try to attend at least one ceremony each year, and hope on this morning to attend at least two. Every anniversary, I hug each and every first responder and thank them for their dedication to their jobs. They are the ones that race every day to save others, putting their lives on the line with each call, and they all need to be thanked by everyone in their communities.
Never forget.
Below I wanted to share some photos I have taken in NYC over the past decade.
